ProductBump (“we”, “us”) helps makers list their products and rank them by real revenue. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the service.
Account information. Authentication is handled by Clerk. When you sign up we receive your name, email address, and a unique account identifier. If you sign in with Google, we receive the basic profile information Google shares. We do not see or store your password.
Product submissions. The details you enter — product name, tagline, description, website URL, logo, screenshots, and any demo video link — are stored so we can display your listing.
Stripe connection. To verify revenue, you provide a restricted Stripe API key limited to reading charges and managing webhooks. We use it to register a webhook on your Stripe account and to read charge amounts. We never receive your customers’ payment details, and the key cannot move money or issue charges.
Revenue data. We record the amount and timestamp of charges reported by Stripe so we can show your revenue total and progress. We do not store your customers’ personal or card information.
Comments and activity. Comments you post, and notifications generated for you (e.g. when your product is featured), are stored and associated with your account.
We use the information above only to:
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
We share data only with the providers that make the service work:
Each processes data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.
Product listings — including the name, description, logo, screenshots, revenue totals, and your public maker name — are visible to anyone. Comments you post are also public. Please don’t include anything private in these fields.
We keep your data while your account and listings are active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing us. Disconnecting Stripe removes the stored restricted key and the webhook we registered.
You can access, correct, or delete your information, and withdraw your Stripe connection, at any time. To make a request, email us at the address below and we’ll respond promptly.
